Just do the dreadnought's drift one. If you take your guild than just make sure you have the monk power and make sure you have a lot of permanent res skills as theres almost no way you'll get through without somebody dying.
I henched my way to maw in dreadnoughts and still got the cap. If you hench it you might just wanna run around maw more than you usually would so when he uses FoC/Desecrate it doesn't get so many of your hench.

Go from Camp Rankor.
I henched it, 7 henchies and me. Too a while to get to Dreadnaught's Drift, but once there, that nasty wurm took no time in saying hi. Knocked me on my butt. He wasn't alone either. A total of 3 wurms were there. The boss and two others. Killed the boss, and the other two killed us. We ended up at shrine and killed the other two.
I died twice, henchies died 4 times against wurms. Didn't die getting there though. Patients is key. Dolyak Signet is wonderful against wurms, as are hexes (including WW). I have a N/Me, so my henchies and I made quick work on the boss (the other two came shortly after the battle started).
I fought the wurm at the enterance from the south end of Dreadnaught's.
Good luck, and happy hunting.

I've heard of good spawns and bad spawns. I had a bad spawn. Sometimes he's alone, other times he's not.
I had no problems getting to Mah either, just he had friends when we faced off.

MM made it EXTREMELY easy to get to for me so you should go MM with low SR around 9-10 so you can put attributes into interrupting or dealing damage to Maw when you get to him. Spinal Shivers should do good to interrupt and keep him from totally killing you.

Deldrimor War Camp to Dreadnaught's is much quicker walk than from Rankor. MM seems to work ok, but when I henched for my cap I went Echo SS, with Spinal Shivers, Well of Blood, and Insidious Parasite. Worked wonders and only died once in the Drift.
Good luck.

I didn't bother with MM, because once you enter into Dreadnaught's Drift, you lose all your minions.
I went SS+Domination.
SS
Parasitic Bond
Cry of Frustration
Power Spike
Power Leak
Worstel's Worry
Signet of Capture
Rez Signet
Like I said, killed the Boss, died by the bad spawn that came with him.
